Fantastic fiction

  The new Suriya starer Jai Bhim is another social drama that deals with an important topic. Jai Bhim tries to be this impactful movie that sheds light on an important topic but falls short to be impactful. The big reason for it is that the characters never really flushed out except Lijomol Jose’s character and she was great in the role.  Surya’s advocate Chandhu was dimensional; he felt like a hero that came to the rescue. The movie focused on the message and didn’t think of how to execute it.  The movie has its moments especially Sengani played by Lijomol Jose says no to the help given to her and that was a powerful scene.    Amazon Prime Music bounty Films like Visarne and Karan talked about this topic in a more impactful way. The running time of the movie could have been cut short. The outcome of the movie is quite predictable but still holds some twists.  The screenplay of the movie is a roller coaster with some impactful scenes, some not so impactful....

  The Green Knight Review The Green Knight is a slow-burn fantasy movie that has a deep story. I am not a big fan of slow movies which have inner meanings to them, that doesn’t mean I hate these m movies but they are not my first preference, still, there are a few slow movies which I like. Kuruthi is another feather to Amazon Prime's hit run with South Indian films. In recent times trailers are giving too much away of the plot of movies but the trailer for Kuruthi didn't give anything which made watching a refreshing experience. Kuruthi can be termed as thriller plush social commentary. The movie was bold enough to convey the message and this is going to bring lots of hate to the movie. The movie creates unpredictability while moving forward which is something I like. It reflects on various topics on humanity, religion, and politics.  Toofan was disappointed in terms of being a movie about boxers and another boxing film in a week was too much to take but Sarpatta Parambarai is a much better and refreshing experience. What makes the movie unique is that where the plot is set in and it's the unique tone for sports Drama. Scarpetta focuses on the rivalry between two clans Sarpatta Parambarai and Idiyappa Parambrai. The superiority of clans is set through who wins the boxing match. It is about these clans seeking redemption and politics within the members of the clan. The cracking background score gives us the vibe and takes us to the world of the Sarpatta clan. But the main highlight is of course the boxing matches we feel the pain and rage of the fighters and the emotions of the crowd in the movie. The climax fight sequence was so intense make us confuse who is going to win as if we are watching a real boxing match.   I am a fan of movies about fighters and Toofan is not any different from other films in the genre. Toofan is an underdog story of a goon in the streets of Mumbai becoming a boxer. It is an entertaining film but it just didn't quite hit the mark as a fully satisfying experience for me. Toofan is not a bad film but it just felt like an amalgamation of previous films that told the same well the previous films like Sultan or Hollywood film South Paw also inspired by movies like rocky. Why someone important in the life of our hero has to die to make him or her motivated. Why There should always be a downfall to your success full career. Downfalls can happen but why is it always shown in movies like this. The positive of movies is that of not boring and Farhan Akthar transformed into a boxer.  Malik follows the story pattern of hero to many but villain to the system which we have seen in many films. What makes Malik unique is its making, performance, and cultural aspects in the movie. The film is filled with amazing visuals kudos to the cinematographer. Malik is 2hr 41 minutes long but it never felt like that because the movie moved in nice pacing that does not make the viewers bored. We immediately get transformed into the world and culture. The cast as usual has done a great job to make the film engaging because the script demands good performance.  Parallel's with Kamal Haasan's Nayakan can be s seen in Malik but still, it is unique in its way. As mentioned earlier there are cliches in the plot that can be overlooked. Malik could have been a better experience on the big screen.

  The new Malayalam thriller is a blending of horror and crime genre. The movie is not the next best thing but a one-time watch. The editing and camera are excellent in the film so are the BackGround Score.  The story, it started in an interesting way but when it comes to it became quite predictable. In a crime thriller, the story will be interesting if the task of solving the crime is a challenge but when it comes to the second half it becomes easy for the protagonist. The horror part is done in a believable way that does not break the reality of the world it is set. When it comes to the acting part everybody has done good jobs the roles were not challenging for anyone. "Cold Case is a one-time watch thriller that does not belong to the must-watch category but worth giving it a try" Rating 6/10

 Always wanted to see a movie that shed light on wildlife conservation from India and finally got one. The plot of Sherni is a subject that no one discusses considered less important among common people. The plot revolves around the forest of Madhya Pradesh and when a man-eating tiger is on the run and a wildlife officer played by Vidya Balan is on a mission to capture the tiger. The movie showcase perfectly the hardships of wildlife officers and how they try to keep the peace between humans and animals. The movie shows how important conservation is and how can selfish people be an obstacle to make conservation possible. Everything in the film is captured realistic as if we are watching a real event.  Sherni is one of those rare films that discuss something important that should consider as a priority in today's world.

 Like the predecessor, Family Man Season 2 is an edge of the seat ride from beginning to end. Episodes were in the right meter and not a single episode felt slow. The series had the potential to be "The series from India".What I like about the first two seasons is have a pan-Indian appeal it captures the diversity  India has perfectly.  Manoj Bajapayee in Family Man The highlight of the series is the direction one takes action that makes us feel like we are part of the world. The cast is so amazing and Manoj Bajpayee is the perfect protagonist and this is the perfect example that you don't need a six-pack or build body and one-liners to be a hero. Samantha is a perfect antagonist and it is rare for a female villain like this from Indian movies or series. The television content from India is getting worst and worst and series like Family Man can represent India internationally and those who haven't seen it please watch the two-season support content like this.
