  Karnan A movie that is visually beautiful and socially impactful is one best adaptation of Indian mythology. Karnan shed light on the hardship the unprivileged group has to face in society but this time with some commercial touch to it. The film is full of symbols which for shadows the events which happen later in the movie. In this film not just the humans become the character’s but from a snail to the mountains are part of the story make this movie a unique experience.   Minnal Murali To make a superhero movie that suits Kerala culture is not an easy job. The tight screenplay of this film makes it a good story even if we take out the superhero elements. Doctor Movie Review

  Doctor starring Siva Karthikeyan is a complete entertainer which also has some flaws. The director Nelson knows how to make an engaging movie from start to end. Well, the movie has its cringe moments especially and the second which prevents it from being from a perfect film. Some sequences are hard to believe which breaks the reality the movie is set in. The protagonist doctor is an interesting character but felt he should have flushed out more and we need a sequel to know more about him. That is another problem I have with the film rest characters were just there and we never connect with all of them. The villain did not feel dangerous with the hype given to him he was like a typical bad guy. I felt distracted when the movies started with romantic but that was where the movie was heading, the story starts from there. Boldness is what make this movei great

Kuruthi is another feather to Amazon Prime's hit run with South Indian films. In recent times trailers are giving too much away of the plot of movies but the trailer for Kuruthi didn't give anything which made watching a refreshing experience. Kuruthi can be termed as thriller plush social commentary. The movie was bold enough to convey the message and this is going to bring lots of hate to the movie. The movie creates unpredictability while moving forward which is something I like. It reflects on various topics on humanity, religion, and politics. In terms of performance, Prthiviraj and Roshan were equally good.It was Mamukkoya who was a surprise we see the actor's true potential. On the technical side so camera shots were not good but the cinematography was brilliant. What makes this movie even great is that it does the typical hero in a story all the characters are multilayered and of course, the background score was perfect for the mood of the film. Horror + Crime

  The new Malayalam thriller is a blending of horror and crime genre. The movie is not the next best thing but a one-time watch. The editing and camera are excellent in the film so are the BackGround Score.  The story, it started in an interesting way but when it comes to it became quite predictable. In a crime thriller, the story will be interesting if the task of solving the crime is a challenge but when it comes to the second half it becomes easy for the protagonist. The horror part is done in a believable way that does not break the reality of the world it is set. When it comes to the acting part everybody has done good jobs the roles were not challenging for anyone. "Cold Case is a one-time watch thriller that does not belong to the must-watch category but worth giving it a try" Rating 6/10

Jagame Thandhiram Hit or Miss

 The New Kollywood gangster flick is a disappointment in terms of what was expected. It has got everything to hyped. Dhanush is good at picking scripts for the last few years and it has got an international face like Jame Cosmo finally a craftsman like Karthik Subbaraj is directing it.  Jagame Thandhiram is not a bad film but it doesn't add anything new and it is predictable after the first half. This is hard to say but the writing bit lazy and the second is a bit dragged. The movie does not make you bore entirely and the action sequences are well made. The performance of the was impressive. The expectation may have affected the impact or whether the theatre viewing would make more impact maybe.

 Ray is yet another anthology based on short stories of the legend Satyajit Ray The negative I have is at least three movies could have cut short in 40 Minutes rather than almost one hour of running time and they could have made more impact. The movies Bharupiya and Spotlight were a bit confusing when it comes to the end because it kind of breaks the reality it is set in even though the stories were interesting. The final twist reveals of Spotlight which is the first entry in the anthology was quite predictable. The movie which likes among the four  Manoj Bajpayee starred "Hungama Hey Kyon Barpa" which felt a good mixture of seriousness and comedy but again running time made the movie lagged. KANAKAM KAMINI KALAHAM REVIEW

  I have always been a supporter of out-of-the-box movies in Malayalam, most of these movies won’t get the credit from the masses the new genre may not be everyone’s cup of tea. The new Nivin Pauly flick Kanakam Kamini Kalaham written and directed by Ratish Ambat is one of those offbeat Malayalam movies that won’t be like buy many. The theme of the absurd comedy is an exaggeration of daily life events.  The story takes in the Hotel which has over-the-top versions of real-life people. What like about the movie is that references a lot of stuff like body shaming, political correctness which are the most discussed topic nowadays. Apart from this, there are references to films like The Shining, My Name is Khan, etc. How much unique this movie is I didn’t quite connect with the movie, there are some laugh-out moments in the movie but they are too over the top for my taste. A Perfect Ending | Money Heist Review

    Since the last year of the Pandemic era, the show Money Heist has become a global phenomenon. The first half of the final season is a heartbreaking cliffhanger wondering the audience what would happen next. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the whole gold part of the series. It was unnecessary and some character death seemed like a cheap trick to get emotionally invested in the show but the first two parts of the fifth season have won me over. The plus point of Money Heist is that all five seasons were fast-paced which never bore the audience. Coming from Spain the series has a unique style to it. When it comes to the fifth season the story has a nonlinear pattern and the second story in the series felt unnecessary but it paid off in the end.
