Top Indian Movies of 2021

Image
Karnan A movie that is visually beautiful and socially impactful is one best adaptation of Indian mythology. Karnan shed light on the hardship the unprivileged group has to face in society but this time with some commercial touch to it. The film is full of symbols which for shadows the events which happen later in the movie. In this film not just the humans become the character’s but from a snail to the mountains are part of the story make this movie a unique experience.   Minnal Murali To make a superhero movie that suits Kerala culture is not an easy job. The tight screenplay of this film makes it a good story even if we take out the superhero elements. It has some issues in some technical accepts but all of it is outshined by the intent narrative that keeps us engaged and gives us the story that the director wants us to tell.   Nayattu I don’t know why I love films but this film is a summary bad and corrupted our system is and the marginal society get a...

An MCU Christmas Adventure

Image
After one year break Marvel Cinematic Universe is now rocking again in the box office but this year it is not just the movies MCU has given to the fans this year they also took the root of the web series format. The new series line of the MCU allowed it to tell stories in formats that they have not told before because they don’t have to worry about the box office numbers. MCU has given five shows this year which further extended the already extending cinematic universe. Hawk-Eye which is the final show in the series line of the Marvel cinematic universe took the path of a Christmas adventure format. The show focuses on Clint Barton (Hawk Eye) who has been sidelined in most of his outing in the MCU and the show also introduces Kate Bishop who will be the new Hawk-Eye in the MCU. Hawk-Eye also introduces new characters and sheds light on the underworld which has been existing in the MCU. What I like about the show is the chemistry between Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld who pl...

This is what you call living up to the hyp

Image
It is tough to film to live up to expectations but Spider-Man No Way Home is a movie that lives up to the hype it was generating ever since the first trailer of the movie showed back in August. There is always a blind thought that superhero movies are cheap tricks and predictable. Well most of the MCU has shown that superhero movies are more than that and the new Spidey movie shows superhero movies are just more than a gimmick. This movie is a perfect blender of emotions and action. It is not an easy task to blend characters from previous Spider Man movies in the MCU and it should also be more than just fan service and Now Way Home Showed these characters earned their spot in this film. I never knew I would get the same theatre experience after Endgame during this post-pandemic era but today fans showed that it will take more than a pandemic to stop them from enjoying this film because there are plenty of goosebumps moments in the movie that will make you go crazy. When it comes ...

Shang Chi and Legend of The Ten Rings Review Being a Marvel fan over the years there is nothing but joy watching a Marvel movie in the theater and after Spider-Man Far From Home, it took almost two years to watch another one on the big screen thank pandemic for it. I was not missing the MCU content because their recent web series like Loki and Wand Vision was fun to watch but still experiencing an MCU movie on the big screen is a different feeling. Finally, theaters open in my state, and Shang Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings was among the first release in my state and went into the theater the first day itself on and I was and happy to relive the experience once again. Coming to the movie Shang Chi has all the MCUism’s but still unique film it on. Shang Chi was an adaption Marvel comic’s first Asian superhero, Shang Chi was inspired by the popularity of Bruce Lee’s movies so this movie nice mixture of martial arts movies and comic book movies. Shang Chi and the legend of the ...

Finaly A Good Trailer After A Long Rime

Image
It has been so long that a trailer was this exciting most of the trailer today gives too much and they can be categorized as movie summary. No Way Home Was in talking for a long time now speculations regarding the cast and the plot. Rumors around Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield were all over the place. Well, the trailer does not have both of them but It has doctor OC from Sam Raime Spider-Man Film and that was a goosebumps moment. There easter egg of Green Goblin As well will Willem Dafoe reprise his role only timewill tell. There are also shots which can be of Electro and Jammie Fox is in the cast reprising his role from Amazing Spiderman 2. The plot seems very interesting and the trailer gives only little and also Dr. Strange seems weird in his behavior. The trailer left us with a lot of questions about how the trailer should be. Now Way Home is going to be the hyped movie at end of this year. If ever they release a second trailer hope it won't spoil the movie.

Jaw Dropped 😧😧

Loki ended with a jaw-dropping moment and as a viewer, I want more episodes. Unfortunately, that is not going to happen any soon but season 2 will come any way can't wait for it. Apart from the third episode, the entire series was thrilling. Loki is one of my favourite characters and how great Tom Hiddleston is in that role. This time we have got different versions of Loki which added an extra layer to this show. The trailers didn't give away much which made it more enjoyable and every episode was a surprise and it was even more surprising how the show ended. The episodes build up nicely making the viewers eager for the next one. Another good thing about the show is that it has good character moments also runs of easter eggs.  Loki series will change the MCU and things are going to get more complicated. How Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to build from this and how upcoming movies are going to get connected to Loki are some questions that come to mind when the last episode...

Loki Starts with a Bang

Image
Loki in Marvel Cinematic Universe is always an interesting character because he is unpredictable Loki can be a hero an villain or an antihero.  The trailer of Loki was so excited to see it and the first episode is the kind of start that is required for the series. Tom Hiddleston is great as Loki can't think of anyone else portraying that role. The first episode is an engaging one that also gives memories of previous movies in the MCU. Owen Wilson is also good at playing Mobius.M. Mobius. The episode expands more on what we know about the cinematic universe. Like the title, it focuses on the main character further develops him. Can't wait for the next episode and will Loki change the overall nature of the MCU let us wait and see.

The new trailer of enternals is simply amazing!!

Image
Marvel Cinematic Universe is a successful full franchise over the last few years.  The major criticism  MCU getting is that the franchise is always playing safe but with new phase four of the franchise they are trying to be different from what they have been famous for. Wanda Vision being a sitcom, Falcon and Winter Soldier spy thriller upcoming Loki a  time travel series. After a long wait trailer for their upcoming movie Eternals released and it was Amazing.  Scene from the trailer The scale of the movie much similar to the Avengers Endgame because of the star cast in it and the story. Enternals are similar to God who was made by Celestials to help humidity. The cast is Diverse with Dong Lee  a Korean Superstar, Kumail Nanjiani , and A-lister like Angelina Jolie  it is like MCU casting every actor in the world. The trailer does not have the MCU vibe to it it feels like an entirely different thing and stands on its own. Chloe Zhao the Oscar...
