  Karnan A movie that is visually beautiful and socially impactful is one best adaptation of Indian mythology. Karnan shed light on the hardship the unprivileged group has to face in society but this time with some commercial touch to it. The film is full of symbols which for shadows the events which happen later in the movie. In this film not just the humans become the character’s but from a snail to the mountains are part of the story make this movie a unique experience.   Minnal Murali To make a superhero movie that suits Kerala culture is not an easy job. The tight screenplay of this film makes it a good story even if we take out the superhero elements. KANAKAM KAMINI KALAHAM REVIEW

 I have always been a supporter of out-of-the-box movies in Malayalam, most of these movies won’t get the credit from the masses the new genre may not be everyone’s cup of tea. The new Nivin Pauly flick Kanakam Kamini Kalaham written and directed by Ratish Ambat is one of those offbeat Malayalam movies that won’t be like buy many. The theme of the absurd comedy is an exaggeration of daily life events.  The story takes in the Hotel which has over-the-top versions of real-life people. What like about the movie is that references a lot of stuff like body shaming, political correctness which are the most discussed topic nowadays. Apart from this, there are references to films like The Shining, My Name is Khan, etc.

How much unique this movie is I didn’t quite connect with the movie, there are some laugh-out moments in the movie but they are too over the top for my taste. There are some good performances from Nivin Pauly, Grace Antony, Vinay Fort, Rajesh Madhavan, and Sudesh Kumar. The movie is also a commentary on the human habit of peeking into others’ life.  Topics like patriarchy around are also discussed in the movie but it is shown differently. The set in the movie felt like a set but this is what the director intended to show us. Some characters felt irritated while watching the movie again this may be what the director wants us to feel.

To conclude Kanakam Kamini Kalaham is a unique movie that is not everyone’s cup of tea. The movie has moments that made me laugh and shed light on some important topics and there are some hilarious performances that are never seen in Malayalam cinema.  The movie fall shot for me for liking it but that doesn’t mean this is a bad movie those who like out of the box stuff can definitely give this one a try.

  The Green Knight Review The Green Knight is a slow-burn fantasy movie that has a deep story. I am not a big fan of slow movies which have inner meanings to them, that doesn’t mean I hate these m movies but they are not my first preference, still, there are a few slow movies which I like. The Green Knight has stunning visuals which should be enjoyed on the big screen and maybe this is the reason I didn’t enjoy the movie that much. The Green night is not a bad film but it was for me. Doctor Movie Review

  Doctor starring Siva Karthikeyan is a complete entertainer which also has some flaws. The director Nelson knows how to make an engaging movie from start to end. Well, the movie has its cringe moments especially and the second which prevents it from being from a perfect film. Some sequences are hard to believe which breaks the reality the movie is set in. The protagonist doctor is an interesting character but felt he should have flushed out more and we need a sequel to know more about him. That is another problem I have with the film rest characters were just there and we never connect with all of them. The villain did not feel dangerous with the hype given to him he was like a typical bad guy. I felt distracted when the movies started with romantic but that was where the movie was heading, the story starts from there.
