  The movie based on the most known fugitive of Kerala is something that every Keralites will look forward to, the name Sukumara Kurup is talked about at least once in every Malayali household.  When Kurup movie was announced with Dulquer playing the longest wanted fugitive the film enthusiast in me got hyped. Like other big movies, Kurup also got delayed, which also resulted in speculation.   Doctor starring Siva Karthikeyan is a complete entertainer which also has some flaws. The director Nelson knows how to make an engaging movie from start to end. Well, the movie has its cringe moments especially and the second which prevents it from being from a perfect film. Some sequences are hard to believe which breaks the reality the movie is set in. The protagonist doctor is an interesting character but felt he should have flushed out more and we need a sequel to know more about him. That is another problem I have with the film rest characters were just there and we never connect with all of them. The villain did not feel dangerous with the hype given to him he was like a typical bad guy. Yet Another Fighter Story

  I am a fan of movies about fighters and Toofan is not any different from other films in the genre. Toofan is an underdog story of a goon in the streets of Mumbai becoming a boxer. It is an entertaining film but it just didn't quite hit the mark as a fully satisfying experience for me. Toofan is not a bad film but it just felt like an amalgamation of previous films that told the same well the previous films like Sultan or Hollywood film South Paw also inspired by movies like rocky. Why someone important in the life of our hero has to die to make him or her motivated. Why There should always be a downfall to your success full career. Downfalls can happen but why is it always shown in movies like this. The positive of movies is that of not boring and Farhan Akthar transformed into a boxer.
