  Karnan A movie that is visually beautiful and socially impactful is one best adaptation of Indian mythology. Karnan shed light on the hardship the unprivileged group has to face in society but this time with some commercial touch to it. The film is full of symbols which for shadows the events which happen later in the movie. In this film not just the humans become the character’s but from a snail to the mountains are part of the story make this movie a unique experience.   Minnal Murali To make a superhero movie that suits Kerala culture is not an easy job. The tight screenplay of this film makes it a good story even if we take out the superhero elements. Jagame Thandhiram Hit or Miss

 The New Kollywood gangster flick is a disappointment in terms of what was expected. It has got everything to hyped. Dhanush is good at picking scripts for the last few years and it has got an international face like Jame Cosmo finally a craftsman like Karthik Subbaraj is directing it. 





Jagame Thandhiram is not a bad film but it doesn't add anything new and it is predictable after the first half. This is hard to say but the writing bit lazy and the second is a bit dragged.




The movie does not make you bore entirely and the action sequences are well made. The performance of the was impressive. The expectation may have affected the impact or whether the theatre viewing would make more impact maybe.

 Ray is yet another anthology based on short stories of the legend Satyajit Ray The negative I have is at least three movies could have cut short in 40 Minutes rather than almost one hour of running time and they could have made more impact. The movies Bharupiya and Spotlight were a bit confusing when it comes to the end because it kind of breaks the reality it is set in even though the stories were interesting. The final twist reveals of Spotlight which is the first entry in the anthology was quite predictable. An MCU Christmas Adventure

  After one year break Marvel Cinematic Universe is now rocking again in the box office but this year it is not just the movies MCU has given to the fans this year they also took the root of the web series format. The new series line of the MCU allowed it to tell stories in formats that they have not told before because they don’t have to worry about the box office numbers. MCU has given five shows this year which further extended the already extending cinematic universe. Hawk-Eye which is the final show in the series line of the Marvel cinematic universe took the path of a Christmas adventure format. The show focuses on Clint Barton (Hawk Eye) who has been sidelined in most of his outing in the MCU and the show also introduces Kate Bishop who will be the new Hawk-Eye in the MCU. KANAKAM KAMINI KALAHAM REVIEW

  I have always been a supporter of out-of-the-box movies in Malayalam, most of these movies won’t get the credit from the masses the new genre may not be everyone’s cup of tea. The new Nivin Pauly flick Kanakam Kamini Kalaham written and directed by Ratish Ambat is one of those offbeat Malayalam movies that won’t be like buy many. The theme of the absurd comedy is an exaggeration of daily life events.  The story takes in the Hotel which has over-the-top versions of real-life people. What like about the movie is that references a lot of stuff like body shaming, political correctness which are the most discussed topic nowadays. Apart from this, there are references to films like The Shining, My Name is Khan, etc. How much unique this movie is I didn’t quite connect with the movie, there are some laugh-out moments in the movie but they are too over the top for my taste.
