Feel goods movies can be overly positive and gives the message of enjoying your life but the new Malayalam movie Homes follows a different path. It doesn't over life as a utopia in everyone's dreams by focuses on problems in a person's life and how can it affect that pe personally and the ones around.

Home gives a good message about the importance of mental health and of course about how mobile phone addiction can harm our life.
The movie commentary that how much time in our life we are invested in our phones.

While watching Instagram stories of others make us feel we are not enjoying our life but we are not seeing the beauty and happiness around us. The film also shows that we are so busy showing the world that we are perfect and happy on social media but we are not ready to accept who we are. We don't need to prove anything to anybody apart from ourself and we should learn to accept flaws. This was well communicated through Sreenath Bhasi. The frustration of a father to get respect from his son was done nicely by Indrans.

Every incident happening in-house is relatable. It doesn't require a world tour or functions to make your life worth it because the happiness we seek is always around us which is our home.
