In this film not just the humans become the character’s but from a snail to the mountains are part of the story make this movie a unique experience.   Minnal Murali To make a superhero movie that suits Kerala culture is not an easy job. The tight screenplay of this film makes it a good story even if we take out the superhero elements. A Movie which became Nightmare to many


Malayalam film industry is gaining popularity over the world over the years Mollywood have produced r good movies with great content but that doesn't mean it best industry like other film industries Malayalam movie industry have also produced many bad movies among lot of politicaly incorrect movies as well

There is lot of movies in Malayalam film industry which haven't aged well.  These movies celebrated at the time but now looking back these movies some worst movies ever made. One of such movie is Chanthu Pottu.

The premise of the movie is about man who raised a woman. What went wrong here is that director actually supported all the teasing the main character got.  The hardships faced buy the character are showed but still movie as whole is about being a transgender is bad.

The name Chanthu Pottu got stuck it was used to tease transgender community or any man with little bit feminine in him. The movie thought the mind of the viewer transgenders are disgrace and it carried for many years.

After many years people were started questioning the movie and demanded director to be sorry for the movie. After the movie  most f trangender characters were stereo typed was there comic purpose only. This reflected back on viewers that we should treattragenders like that

Howe ever now things have changed and we have movies like njan may kitty which has a transgender in a lead role . Even trangender it self making into movies.

So looking there are movies in the past which haven't aged we should think twice whether they should be celebrated today.

Because of it, I went to the movie with the least expectations. I didn’t like the first movie that much as well but I like this film a lot for what it is. Mayavi This is a comic which is running since 1984. Mayavi is a fairy or can be termed as something like a genie in Aladin who was found by two kids named Raju and Radha and they became lifelong friends. The story doesn't stop there Mayavi is hunted by Witches named Kuttusan and Dakini along with their apprentice who is another fairy Luttapi.  The entire comic is about their adventures that take place in this world. These characters and huge fanbase and everyone would happy to see a well adapted Mayavi show or a movie. Rather than a kids-friendly adaptation serious take on it will be interesting.
