Jurassic Park (English)
Jurassic Park is a movie I grew up with at first it was just a monster film me and my sister will die to see Jurassic Park on TV. But when became an adult and started to understand English conservation I understood that it is more than dinosaur eating people.
The movie is a well-crafted sci-fi flick that has scientific accuracy. The facts of how they made dinosaurs, how female dinosaurs became male, genetic engineering made the movie even more interesting. So those who think Jurassic Park is a monster movie you are wrong.
Spadikam (Malayalam)
Spadikam is a Malayalam film being Keralite is a must-watch. The movie is a perfect combination of commercial and classic elements. The protagonist Adu Thoma has a lot of fans than the actor Mohanlal who played the role. The plot is about a Thoma who became a goon due to a lack of support from his father. The father played the late actor Thilakan is a strict mathematician who forcing his son to be like him but Thoma has an interest in the field of science.
The plot conflict between father and son. Thoma enjoys every bad thing he does because it hurts his father. Spadikan is a rare film that shows a complex relationship between two persons.
Taare Zameen Par or Like Stars On Earth (Hindi)
This film is a lesson for parents and teachers. It is a fact that every child is treated equally and for parents, their children extraordinary and for teachers student should get good. Well not everyone is the same if a child gets bad it is not a problem for the child alone it lacks parents' attention and teachers not helping them. Taste Zameen Par focuses on a kid who is dyslexic but no one tries to understand the issue.
It took a drawing teacher to understand the problem and help. The movie also shows the importance of understanding the skills of a child to help him to bring them up and make your child who she or he is not someone they are not.
Old Boy ((Korean)
Old Boy is my first Korean cinema and none English foreign film. This movie made me realize there is more cinema out there that has compelling stories. Old Boy made my jaw dropped when it ended. The path director took to end the film requires appreciation.
Old boy has well-executed action sequences especially the intake action scene which is simply superb and has dark and twisted moments ever seen in a movie. This film is not for the faint-hearted.
