Bloody Thriller in Malayalam in Cinma

 


It is rare to see a thriller that has blood-shedding action in Indian cinema. Movies with violent scenes may not be accepted by the audience but the 2021 Malayalam movie Kala directed by Rohith V.S break the odes with its gory and bloody treatment that makes the viewers engaged throughout the end.

The movie starts without giving the idea of where the story is heading and when the main plot happens it is a non-stop ride.  It is a new adaptation of hero vs villain or privileged vs underprivileged, rich vs power. The protagonist is tribal and the antagonist is rich and privileged and it is a battle between the two. The camera works is so brilliant to bring the experience to the viewers.  For those who want to see a bloody action thriller, this movie is for you.

  The Green Knight Review The Green Knight is a slow-burn fantasy movie that has a deep story. I am not a big fan of slow movies which have inner meanings to them, that doesn’t mean I hate these m movies but they are not my first preference, still, there are a few slow movies which I like. The Green Knight has stunning visuals which should be enjoyed on the big screen and maybe this is the reason I didn’t enjoy the movie that much. The Green night is not a bad film but it was for me. Apart from the visuals the another positive of the movie is Dev Patel’s performance he is convincing in his role.   Doctor starring Siva Karthikeyan is a complete entertainer which also has some flaws. The director Nelson knows how to make an engaging movie from start to end. Well, the movie has its cringe moments especially and the second which prevents it from being from a perfect film. Some sequences are hard to believe which breaks the reality the movie is set in. The protagonist doctor is an interesting character but felt he should have flushed out more and we need a sequel to know more about him. That is another problem I have with the film rest characters were just there and we never connect with all of them. The villain did not feel dangerous with the hype given to him he was like a typical bad guy.
